Welcome to the team Jason. Your time does look a bit high - if the 'AR' is an ave .4xx AR. On .4xx AR's with a 1.4@1.533 (10.5 x 146) I am getting about 4.3hrs per WU. You have a higher fsb so you should be between 3.90 - 4.25hrs.

Glad to have you on the team.

Nice to have you as a member. Your time is maybe a little high, but not too far off what my 1400 tbird at 1600 averages. I wouldn't worry about it.

welcome! glad to see new guys....(like im old around here) but it is hard to get a average time until you do 50 or so...but 4.8 is not bad. i suppose it will probably drop to 4.6 or so by your first 100.

Welcome Jason. Excellent times. I manage 1 every 12 hours on my P600, but every little helps!

yes i noticed that is has dropped since i started, down to 3.9 WU an Hour, so what make the biggest difference in crunch times, mem timings , then mem speed, hen overall speed, or should i just go all out for sheer speed and forget timings,

I always thought it was fsb that was the most important but recently I lowered my fsb and upped my mem speed and shaved about 30minutes off my average times.

welcome to the team!
great to have another member to the team

as for speed tips
all out speed is important, but its best to achieve this using as high an FSB as possible
running your memory timings fast will also improve your times
the best way is to test your system and see

I've never heard of incorrect timings damaging memory, if it can't handle the speed it just won't work. The system may not start or you'll get frequent crashes. Set it back to the old settings and away you go.
