Anyone seen a comparison or tried the accelero x2 vs. the zalman vf900 cooler on the x1900xt card?

Theres no doubt in my mind that the zalman will be the more effective system

Is the accelero a heatpipe also or just the zalman? I was ready to get the accelero x2 until I realized that arctic cooling really dropped the ball on that one and instead of venting the air out of the machine like they did with all of the previous coolers, they have it blowing down right where my chipset is.

This is what I am waiting for.

It beat the Thermalright V1 by about 5-6C. I requested on a 6600GT, and also did well on a 7800GT, I will see if I can dig up the review

If you can afford the money I'd be considering the Zalman VF900. The Accelero is a heatpipe but it's a p|sspoor design. Much worse than anything AC has produced before. The Sytrin could be interesting but I need to see it on something other than a 6600 before I get too excited about it.

There was a review done with the 7800GT as well. Also newegg has it now for 38$. I have one on order with my X1800XT 256MB Card. Plus you will see my review soon on the card :)

Vengance - did you get your stuff from newegg? I look forward to your review on the new cooler. I'm looking at that, the V-1 Ultra and VF-900 as possiblities for new video card.
