Hello All,

I am trying to do a better job on cabling (after seeing some excellent jobs by others). I need to disassemble a SATA power molex connector so I can do some re-routing. I don't want to cut my case (Lian Li V2100B-Plus) and thought how hard could it be. Well, I have not figured out how to do it without basically breaking the connector.

Has anyone done this? If so, can you share the details? :)

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Save yourself a lot of effort and just buy new S-ATA power plugs like these (http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=164&products_id=1220) from Performance-PCs. They'll run you 99 cents each, but save you one huge headache.

Here's what they look like in my V2000:
