Anyone used Creative DTS-610?

Has anyone tried the Creative DTS-610 multichannel converter in their HTPC setup? While it's obviously a sub-optimal solution I'm curious whether it introduces any noticeable signal loss or delay.

yea, i'd like to know also. seems like this is the answer to all of us who already have soundcards but dont want to spend money on the mystique or aureontech-those have driver issues and do not do eax. also, their encoding penalizes framerates since there is a software component
