Xbox 360 folding yet?

I'm pretty sure this has been asked before, but I'm not sure when it was last asked, or if anything has changed since it was last asked.

Has anyone figured out how to run a linux OS, or for that matter, any other OS on the 360 yet? Or does anyone know if any progress is even being made in this department?

wooo, i just watched trigun 1-12 today. loved it, wish I had more.

oh, right.

360 not hacked yet. The only part of it that has been hacked is the firmware on the dvd drive. this lets it run burned dvds. and that was just this week, i think.

apparently it is very hard to hack, but I hope it gets done, I'd like to have one especially if it could fold while i wasn't playing.

but anyway my understanding was that it couldnt be hacked because it runs on three cores and there are no linux kernels or w/e that can use three cores.

Well, depending on what cores are being used in the 360 (I'm not up to date on its hardware), it would most likely be possible to run Linux on at least one, since it currently supports playing Xbox games.
