yea i got win xp pro and personally i think its sucks @$$ (no affense to you win xp people). i did a upgrade form win 98se in my add program files floder there is a file called 'uninstall win xp' how do i open that program so i can uninstall the stupid @$$ win xp pro.
I did an uninstall once when I was trying to bring my old Win ME system over to XP. It failed and I finally did a clean install.
You don't use the folder directly. You have to find the spot that allows you to uninstall. I don't remember exactly where it is but my two best guesses are:
1) Control Panel Add-Remover Programs
2) Programs-Accessories-System Tools - System Restore
If I am wrong you can find it easily by just hunting around the programs on the machine. It is there!
Can you not back your stuff up with something like Nero and do a clean install? I mean did you convert your drive to NTFS because if you did there is no way Windows will convert it back to FAT... It has to manually done with a 3rd party program.
