If you're interested, you can change the way the time is displayed in the Windows tray to military time... Control Panel | Regional & Language Options | 'Regional Options' tab | 'Customize' button | 'Time' tab | 'Time Format:' | "HH:mm:ss".

Actually, millitary time is "normal" time everywhere else in the world minus the U.S.

We should use it, it would make everything simpler. (We should use the metric system too..)

I may be better, but seems a little late to change.

i just remember that AM is "After Midnight" and that PM is "Post Midnight" (before midnight)v
but here in israel the 24 hour time is the standard even though my watch is set to am\pm out of habit.

btw the metric system rocks!!!

Actually "AM" stands for the Latin phrase Ante Meridiem, which means "before noon"... and "PM" stands for Post Meridiem or "after noon".

English Canada uses the AM/PM system as well. Quebec uses the 24-hour method however.

Only digital clocks display the military time, but nobody says the military time.
