OK well for all of us that use Lavas Everest Home Edition to monitor temps watch out on MOST nvidia cards it reads the GPU core temp any where from 5-10*C lower than other monitors (IE nvidia control pannel, rivatuner...) (on my card it reads it 5*C lower on my friends 6800gt its 10*C) Im not sure if this is the case on ATI cards but it sure is a prob with NVIDIA cards... dont trust Everest for temps. check out this pic... my gpu temp is actually 33*C and ambient is 29*C (thanks to my P4 hs) but in everest it shows my gpu core being lower than ambient.... only thought that happened with water, tec, or phase cooling...
