i'm trying to run my 66/733 @ 100/1100 (only three choices on fsb in bios 66/100/133) but when i load windows, it locks up soon after it is loaded.
have plenty of air powered cooling,
any idea what it may be?
vcore = 1.665v
256meg pc133 (running at 100 - no other choice unless running 133 fsb, and comp won't load with 133fsb)

1.1 gig is really pushing those 733 Cellies. You'll need exceptional cooling, much better than you currently have, I'll guarantee it. Once you get better cooling, you'll need to bump up the CPU core voltage. Even then, you might not get it stable at 100 FSB, since it appears you have a cB0 stepping CPU. However, if it's at least posting, that's encouraging and means there might be hope. Get a really good CPU cooler and thermal paste to start with.

Your Vcore is way to low for that, bump her up to 1.85Vc and see if she lasts longer in Windows but mind your cooling...

Go to the home page of this website and check out their socket 370 cooler recommendations. Lots of good coolers available right now.

Try increasing the core and consider getting a SK-6 or something...
