I had purchased a 19 inch Envision widescreen LCD from Costco a few weeks ago for $230 no rebates. I enjoy it very much, but it does not have DVI. I will be returning it to buy this one!

Cant beat 230 bucks no rebates for a 19 wide with DVI!

50 views and nobody think this is hot???

230 bux for widescreen 19 inch with DVI????! SCORCHING!

My computer should be back up and running after another RMA from ASUS just in time for this monitor to go on sale.

I might actually pick one up. LCDs have been really dropping in price lately. Good for us, that's for sure!

This looks like a great deal. Need to know what the veiwing angle is though. I wont touch any LCD that does not have 170 degree viewing angle or better.

for 230 bucks can you really complain all that much though? Im sure it will be sufficient. It says online price but i hope they have this guy in store as well.

Im sure you already know, but you can get the coupons at the front customer service counter. Just ask them and they will hand you a booklet of all the current coupons. I have a little bit of doubt this wont be in the store as the ad and coupon I saw said online price. I would go into the store and check but most of the time they wont put the items out for sale until the day off because its a promotional item.

Mmm... Ive been wanting to build a new computer, and I will need a new monitor. I think this will do nicely.

Thanks, I think Ill pick this up this week end.

Does anyone know if costco will let me return it if it has some dead pixels? And will they let me return it if it seems to ghost?

Thanks

EDIT:
I think this is the model: X9WG-NagaV 19" 16:10 Wide LCD

they will let you return it for whatever reason you want to! They are very lenient when it comes to things like this. Check their return policy, but its something like 6 months!

The lcd went live on the website today with the 40 dollers off. It is only available through the website and not at the store. I will be ordering one sometime within the next week or two.

do you guys think that 19" diagonal is enough size for a wide screen?

i am fighting with myself here.. the hight seems just a little not enough.. I mean would 1440x900 feel smaller than a "normal" 1280x1024? i think 21" or so would make a big difference.

if even just one person said that it's "absolutelly enough" I'm getting it! :)

EDIT: Oh, so the $229 is for Costco members only, right?
look:
Are you a Costco member? If so, please enter the membership number from the back of your Costco membership card. Non-members pay a 5% surcharge for costco.com purchases, except for prescription drugs and gift certificates.

Is it hard to get most games to run on wierd resolutions like this...? Because when you go to options there is never an option for a 1440x900

I think Source games had/has that an option for that resolution. I haven't played any of them in a while so I'm not sure if they still have that one availible. But yeah, games might look pretty crappy with that monitor if you have to stretch 1280x1024 or something like that.

Eh, and there is shipping too, right?

Hmm...

Yeah, there is shipping. Comes out to about 270 shipped for me. 1440x900 is enough for me, I know that when i sold my last 19 widecsreen and went back to my 17inch crt, I missed the LCD so much because i thought the CRT was soo soo small. Dont forget you can always return this to Costco. Not about getting a FULL refund tho, maybe minus shipping charges. I would call to check about that.

And yes, if you are not a member there is a 5% surcharge. Thats what i pay membership fees for!

Viewing Angle: 150 degree horizontal / 135 degree vertical
