I want to get into overclocking, just because I don't have the money right now to go out and buy a new processor. Plus, I think it be fun. Anyway, how can I overclock an Intel Celeron 500 on ASUS's P-3Bf motherboard and what is the highest that it would run at. I hear of people getting the 500 to over 650. How do I go about doing this?

Actually, I doubt many of those Celeron 500 will go much above 600 MHz, and certainly not without lots of cooling mods. That's the first step and the secret to overclocking... cooling. You do have an Asus motherboard, so that's good. You should be able to raise the FSB to at least 75 MHz for a total of about 563 MHz (7.5X75=562.5), after you're sure the CPU is running cool.

Thanks. I'll try it and see what happens.
