The only difference is the cheap fan and the warranty. The rest is the luck of the draw. Besides, who needs a three year warranty? After all the chip will be worth a fraction of what you paid well before then.

ya but when/if it ever just fried due to a fan going out or something, youd be glad u paid extra for that retail, so you can get a new chip for free, but i never buy retail either, OEM BABY

ok a one year warrenty.... thats kewl but in three years that chip will fircken be worthless.
and if you fry it thats ok it'll make you buy a new one

Warranty schmarranty. As soon as you raise the FSB or take a pencil to it, the warranty is useless anyways.
