The 7900GTX was a big hit, as it was just enough to beat the X1900XTX card.

Because of this NVDA stock is on the rise!!!

Broke $57 a share yesterday up 5% from the previous day!!.... Let hope for $60 today!!

Then soon it will split, and I'll be a happy guy!

Yup! We are doing a stock project in economics and one of my stocks was Nvidia. I was happy that I picked it lol. We started tracking the stocks at the beginning of march and it has since gone up over 10 dollars a share.....amazing :p

Nice pick! Playing the market when it goes up is always fun, but remember it goes south too.:)

At this point very doubtful...

Nvidia has been a very strong player and offer alot of backbone to the techology. Unlike ATI, which I own too, but does not have the resources as with Nvidia.

I bought Nvidia(NVDA) @ $16 a share a 250% increase. And ATI(ATYT) at $6 a 200% increase. So I'm pretty happy.

There has to be two in the race to be the best. Once one goes by-by, there is no "wanting" to do better.

You've seen it happen before. Every quarter, a big company address' stock holders, and break the news that they didn't sell as much product as expected... and things tumble.

Also, dont count out corporate wrong doing. Look at the CEO of Radioshack that just resigned becuase he lied on his application =P RS stock plummetted . They're are many things that can affect stock value, which is why it's ALWAYS a risk, and never a sure thing.

In the past didn't Nvidia own 30% of ATI.

Ironically, back in high school (5 years ago) I did a stock project for a class.

A friend picked Nvidia, I picked AMD.

Back then Nvidia went up from like 20 bucks to 90, split 4 ways to, then went back up to 70 dollars or something crazy in a span of 10 weeks.

Needless to say he won the class competition.

But if you noticed stupid crap like that only happens in the USA!
