That would be nice. If I had that kind of money to burn, that's how I'd burn it. Unfortunately that costs a little less than what I just spent on my bong watercooling setup and what it cost my to drop my HSF on my CPU core.
Maybe I'll make that my Christmas present. Very pimpin', even without the blue background.

Maybe there are some cheaper models.

yea, i thought about getting one of those to mod in my monitor or something.. pretty cool.. wish they had pure color ones tho hehe

umm get a VFD!
vfd's are always blue
and they dont need a backlight.
i just got one i got on ebay but i have to set it up.

What's a VFD? How complex are they to set up?

actually
Futaba makes a Lcd Emulator. so its all preety much the same except its a Vfd.
VFD = Vaccum Flourescent Display

they make some crazy stuff.

Am I stupid or do they not have any prices at futaba? That's some mad schtuff and if it's not madly expensive, it'd be a great place to buy VFDs or LCDs.
