I hate to repost this, but it does belong in this section more, now that I think about it. This is just really bugging me, especially the first problem. I want to watch a video on the tv =/ So here goes....
"This is my first time running a nvidia card with dual monitors and I'm having two slight problems. First, I use s-video out to my tv to watch things from my computer on the tv. A 19'' monitor is a good size but doesn't compare with most TVs. The problem I'm having now is that the tv is slightly..well off. When I was using fullscreen on my media player, zoom player, I was going past the limits of the TV. I was missing like 5-7% of video on each side and some on the bottom, the top was fine. It's not the player itself because for one it will go to fullscreen mode on my regular monitor just fine and two, if I put my monitor/tv on "clone" mode you can easily see that when a window gets dragged to the edge of my monitor, it's slightly off the tv's screen.
I had no problems like this with my TV when I was using my 9800 pro and ati's drivers/programs. I've gone through nvidias program but can't seem to do much about this. *Edit* I've also downloaded TvTool, which hasn't seemed to help any either.
My second problem. My normal second monitor, a 17'' regular monitor, is off level with my main monitor. It's slightly higher. Therefore I always had it exactly 144 pixels higher than my main. The problem is that I'm not allowed to do that anymore. It will only let me select a height of over 200 pixels difference. If I select 100 or 144 pixels, the difference just disappears and it stays level. This is just windows regular screen setup->settings and trying to move the 2nd monitor around. It's really a pain because when they're "level", it drives me insane having my mouse jump because of the height difference and if I set it past 200 pixels difference, it's extremely uneven in the opposite direction.
I'm not sure if anyone can answer either of these problems directly, but maybe just give me an idea of something to download/mess with etc. I'll be trying on my own as well, thanks."
