Whats the default vcore and how far can you go on default when ocing witht he 1800+
Btw you can only change the vcore if your xp cpu's unlocked right?

vcore is 1.75v, you can prolly overclock a little at this voltage, and you can change the vcore no matter if it's unlocked or not, provided your motherboard supports this option.
I think most mobos by default, will only allow up to 1.85v for the XP. I was looking at the article Ed put on the front page today, about the XP's bridges;

I knew that you could raise the voltage by connecting some bridges on the chip itself as well as thru the BIOS...this explains things a bit clearer.
(Although, it looks by this above, you can go from 1.75 to 1.85v just by connecting the only open bridge in the L11's. I thought that changing the voltage this way was done thru the L7 bridges....:confused: )
