My new cooling system:
Water fed in from house water supply
Through cooling coils in little freezer-entirely full of big block of ice
To Massive Maze-type block with silver base and no less than 3 220w peltiers
Onto an AthlonXP 1800+. @2GHZ!
What do you all think?
It was expensive, very.

And where did you get an XP333? And what are your temps with 3 220W pelts, and what the heck kinda PSU you got for those pelts??? 3 Separate PSUs?
hmmm... I'm a skeptic... Got pics? Screen Shots of MBM5, Sandra, etc?
Peace

No. Haven't even STARTED FSB OVERCLOCKING YET! 15x on a 134FSB.
I use a MASSIVE PSU for the pelts. I'm talking a massive 24v PSU, NOT a comp one. You can get them(pelts) from www.tekheads.com(in england).
Temps:
-9 UNDER LOAD @2.01GHZ!
I'm just taking a break till I work out an XP333 volt mod. Then I'll really start the FSB.
Unlocked using paint and Krazy Glue.
XP333 came from some computer shop in London.
And NO screenshots. I have taken a VOW never to touch benchmarks again after what happened with 3DMark2k1 ( obsessive tweaking)

That site as linked doesn't exist. That's an INSANE amount of pelts. Why do you have three 220W pelts? I think that three's too many. You should send me the third. (jk)

ok..he has THREE pelts, 220W at that, he sends a dead link, he has a mobo that isn't out yet and is diverting water from his house, which will QUICKLY corrode and destroy his equipment (Stuff grows in there)
may I say...BS!

why is every one determined to use tapwater?
sure its cool but isnt it expensive and wastefull
i find it hard to believe that you would not want to bench this comp
is it because it won't make past 30 secs in 3dMarks without locking up or giving you BSOD
lol
and with a comp like that, you would think there would be a better video card?????
put your money where your mouth is
show us some pics
i hope you prove me wrong
but we will see
later

I don't think that everyone is for it, or at least not in the above way. I'm eventually going to hve a bong cooler that's going to go through a lot of water, and I kno that it'll be chaeaper just to filter tapwater than to buy x gallons of distilled water every week.
If you don't completely waste it, tap water's great for watercooling.
I don't understand why someone would want to waste water when cycling it through the system is a perfectly viable and much more prevalent option.

you could use your toilt tank as a resirve
every time some one flushes you get a new supply of cold water and no more wasted water than normal.
remeber i said the tank not the bowl

Good idea! You could divert the water through the seat and have a warm seat while ur at it! just kiddin... Stuff grows in the water from the talk too, it all comes from the same place, youd need a water wetter injection system or something.

i think you could get buy with a uv light
i dont think stuff will grow in the tank if it gets flushed alot
keep replacing it with new water.
That's it, I'm moving my computer into the bathroom.... bringing my mini fridge in, I won't even have to get up to poop.

i hope you dont have a water meter

Don't think they meter water over the other side of the pond overclocker, doesn't fit with their ethos ;)

you better belive they do
main in virigina my water prices are out of control beucase all these little companies are trying to take over the big on and to conpensate they raised the prices.
what a crock
thats why im saying use the toliet tank water becuase its got to be filled anyway so your not wasteing
allso im asumming many of you use the toilet at least 1 time day
just divert the fill to the bong and have the over flow go to the toilet
first time youll need to fill the bong or whatever
the second time the new water goes in the bong and pushes the warm water to the tank to get flushed
