Just like the title says, these cards are dirt cheap and I was wondering if they would be faster than what I currently have? Setup is in my sig...with the DFI board. Thanks!

these cards are about on par with a 6600gt, heavily overclocked ofcourse....however, you migh tbe better off going with 2 x1600xt or something and crossfiring them on the Asus P5WD2-Prem.

Well, I have a brand new 6800XT that I can't return anymore. I don't wanna take a loss on selling it. So what do you think?

If I use the P5WD2 as my main comp...I'd have to use the 805 cpu. I don't know if that's faster than my venice for gaming. Ah, the plot thickens! I hate when I build my backup computer to be faster than my gamer!!!

i'm not sure if it is slower than the x850xt. Someone in this forum runs sli with this card and actually scores higher than me in 03, 05, and 06.

Faster in benchmarks or faster in games?

Regardless, know that most 6800XTs are regular DDR (like your card), but the XFX 6800 XTreme is GDDR3 (= supercool).

I'd say performance will be just a bit less than the x850 X.
