I just played the The Last Word video on GameSpot and after telling us about GHOST being delayed they have finally found out that Blizzy will be making....

World Of Starcraft

Yep think SC in the WoW style it'll have the Zerg, Terran & Protoss and a 4th alien race which is currently unknown. Could be released in 2007 if it's true what GameSpot say.

huh..

but yeah i wonder what it'll be like? it'll be a mmorpg, but it has to have something different from the average formula... i wonder... i can't see starcraft in the mmorpg setting for some reason. maybe it'll be like rome:total war ONLINE where you command your troops AND you fight in real time via 3rd person.. or soemthing that'd be cool.

oh it's an april's fool thing? :p

if you watched the actual clip you have no excuse to believe its real. cant you at least SEE that tor thorsen is having trouble holding back laughter and that theres another take edited into it?

I wish Blizzard would do something with Starcraft, I don't agree with paying monthly to pay a game but if they came out with and MMO of starcraft i would pay whatever they wanted me to pay monthly to play it. :D

I found this picture of what seems to be StarCraft characters roaming around like in WoW. But mind you it's fake as you can see a Protoss battleship in the background you can get as a wallpaper. It's called The Gantrithor as it's Tassadar's warship from Starcraft.

We can all hope one day Blizzard will take on the challenge of making a new StarCraft game. Theirs big money in it for sure for them.

i'm not sure if it's actually possible to make a better RTS than starcraft. i think they haven't made SC2 because they know they can't top it.

PS. in case anyone still doesn't know, world of starcraft was an april fool's joke.
