AMD athlon 1600 came with a bar code sticker on it, should I take it off?

hey, my processor got here today, and it has a barcode sticker on it, I am not sure if it will hurt the CPU or not if I leave it on. Did anyone elses come with a sticker on it? And if so, did you remove it?

I too have a barcode sticker and have left it on. The company who supplied it need it left in place incase I need to return it. They also managed to cover some of my bridges, not the L1's though.

yea i would too, my mobo has it on the zif socket... i better leave it there, seeing this is my second mobo from the place in the past 3 weeks hehe

if it dont directly affec ome of the bridges then id leave ti, removing it is just another xcuse for the company to NOT accept it back if it breaks
