Hey. Just got into this forum. Anyways, i got an XP 1800+ down to 504 mhz. The FASTEST 500 mhz proc ever! lol. Anyways, after that, topped out at 1742. Yay, good for me!

did you have to do some serious aint-airflow mods to get that cpu to work at that speed?!

Great job with both the over and underclock..... what Mobo/Ram are you using???

while were on the subject of lowly XP1800 performance, here is a 3Dmark2001 score that most people with atari processors would beat.....

13oots, i scored a 535, while most people with my processor and Mobo would score a 8000.....i was using an old Rage Xpert2000 vid card, so i guess it makes sense...

That's not as bad as what I got : in Windows XP, with all the stuff in my sig, and on 3d Marks 2000, I get a famous and splendid ... 65. It jumped some tests, so it kindda explains itself ... NOT !

minoukat...YOU WIN!!!! good lord....65 i think 3Dmark doesn't like kryo or voodoo cards....they seem to score especially low....

i cant even run 3d mark 2001 with my card......got a 4700 with 3dmark 2000 though with the card at 196/196 mhz...normally 183/183

As soon as I get this system up...I could try the underclock with the dreaded Savage4 vid card. LOL

Hmm. I think I have an S3 Virge AGP laying around here somewhere...

I could try it with my Duron with the ATI Rage...it was the cheapest card I could find. :)

I've got an old 2MB PCI card somewheres....lol I wonder if it would even run the benchmark at all...:confused:

Earlier today, I underclocked my video card and cpu as far as I possibly could and still got 1605 for my 3dmark 2001 score. I was sad:(

I only got my cpu down to like 950mhz or something. My mobo doesnt support multiplier changes and it apparrantly doesn't see any reason for the fsb going below 90mhz
