so theese are the parts im going to order for my computer....

AMD Athlon 64 3700+

CORSAIR XMS 1GB (2 x 512MB) 184-Pin DDR

i want to et a bad ass nVidia card but i dont know which one i was thinking of the eVga 7800gt but its alot of money is it really worth it or should i just get a 7600? i will be playing alot of diffrent games like oblivian, gun, Quake 4, Call of Duty 2, etc.

i play call of duty2 n oblivion and i have a 6800gs does fine on high settings @ 1280 x 960 or 1280 x 1024, but 7800gt will be fine

The 7600GT will do fine in all the games you want to run, its cheaper than the 6800GS and it performs better in almost every benchmark.

Plus, it has the added bonus of not needing an external power connector, and its nice & quiet :)

I second this motion. Not only that, but it has dual dvi's standard. :cool:

7900gt is an awesome card, but it may be hard to find one now. Maybe you want to go for a x1800 512mb for the same price.

As for the cpu, I recommend a dual core like the opteron.
