Awww man, that is rotten. Dfonda had a similar prob with a 7800gs agp card, just wasn't compatible with his mobo or something. He ended up trying something like 3 different cards, none worked in his rig, so he ended up with a 6800gs instead.

wow, i didn't know that 7800gs has this kind of problem. It really don't make sense to me at all. Just curious here, if the card has compatibility issues, should the card manufacturer indicate that?

sorry to hear about your problem dude... It really sucks ass when we paid so much for a new component, and just see problems when we got it. It is extremely fasturating. I hate to repeat it. It really don't make sense to me that they will make a card with so many compatibility issues. That will only hurt them.

strange it does that, i would of thought it would be conflicts or shared IRQ somewhere. I totally burnt my Graphics card and had to have it replaced. Either it was a bad card or compatiblity problem.

sorry guys :(, looks like it might be a power problem, yes even with my mighty enermax 650w 35a psu, i need to find the time to dismantle comp and run it barebones, some one over overclockers.co.uk forums had the same problem, seams you need to provide two totaly free power feeds and i dont have that liberty with three HD`s and two optical drives and 4 case fans, from what i can see the card is pretty fast, also gainward is about to produce a 7900GT 512mb agp. if i get it sorted and if your still interested i will post benchies at some point, kinda busy at the moment as im getting married on april 15th :)
