Hi,

I'm planning to upgrade my computer memory. I've been trying to find a 2Gb memory kit (1g *2) to replace my current memory modules. apparently, it is very hard to come by. Currently, my memory modules are running at 280Mhz 1:1. HTT is set at 3. I'm hoping to find a 2Gb kit that will do the same. Non of the retailers I looked around has DDR550 2G kit. I say a corsair brand DDR 600 at newegg, but it is extremely expensive. FYI, I believe my currently modules can run 300Mhz stable. I did prime95 for 15 mins on it and it is stable. Can anyone suggest what do I replace this with? Thanks.

The only ones I know of are the Corsair XMS PC4400, TwinX PC4400. Not cheap though.

you could buy another set of LE's and just take the small hit from 2t thats offset by tighter timings.

I did find the corsair and it is expensive. Around $250. I will rather go get the DDR600 for around the same price. hmmm.... due to the limited response, I guess there isn't much choice for me. Man.... this is getting expensive.
