View Full Version : Help! I can't reinstall Win98!

My OS went south yesterday, so I'm trying to reinstall it. I made the Windows 98 startup disk as asked, but for some reason it won't detect my CD-ROM drive. Without that, I can't reinstall Windows.

Can somebody tell me what to do here?

Never mind.

I had hoped to avoid this option, but instead of installing 98 and then upgrading to XP again, I went straight to XP. Machine is running and approaching full functionality again.
