as of, about 20 mins ago, i am considering water cooling.
my Ecs KN1 SLI extreme screwd up on me a couple of weeks ago so i replaced it with an asus a8n32 sli deluxe. now, with my ECS, i had 8 fans in my case ( arctic cooling silentium t1) which cooled it nicely, the sides were even cold to touch.
yesterday when i installed my new mobo i realised i only had 6 fans. i left the side off, and just left my pc on, on the product activation screen for about 2 hrs, and i could feel the heat on my gpu, and on my mobo.

my questions are, how affective is WC?
is it easy in install?
is it expensive?

read the stickies.
you will gain mucho knowledge if you read them and then will be able to ask more specific questions for your needs.

If you do your home work it can be rather cheap.
I don't think its worth getting new parts unless you are loaded but if you are on a budget 2nd hand stuff will works just as well as new stuff and you will save some major £££.
