If you live in ny and bought microsoft stuff between May 18 1994 and December 31 2004. The settlement hasnt been approved yet but I got one in the mail a few weeks ago.

You will receive vouchers redeemable for cash after the purchase of a wide variety of software and computer hardware products. The value of the vouchers you will receive is based on the eligible Microsoft purchases that you made from May 18, 1994 through December 31, 2004: $12 for each Microsoft Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows 98 Second Edition or Windows Millennium operating system license; $5 for each Microsoft MS-DOS, Windows 1.0 to 3.11, Windows for Workgroups, Windows NT Workstation, Windows 2000 Professional, Windows XP Home Edition or Windows XP Professional operating system license; $5 for each Microsoft Office license; $5 for each Microsoft Word license; and $5 for each Microsoft Excel license. Note: You may not make a claim for Microsoft software that was purchased for use on Apple computers or for Microsoft operating systems used on servers.

Am I right in guessing you had to live in NY at the time you bought the items?

heh, I got one of these too. But since I noticed some serial number keys to software I never purchased on my list, I think I'll let microsoft keep my $5 ;) And if you report false claims, you could be audited... *excuse me sir, but what is all this software you have here...*

You just need the cd keys. I never throw anything out so i have all of them.

i could have had like a free 100 bucks
