Old games on XP

I had Shogo and Quake 2Mission Pack: The Reckoning running on Win 95/98 when I fisrt got them. I tried to load them onto Win XP but no go. Is there anyway of getting these games to work again on XP?

Try right clicking on the game you want to play and then go into it's properties. After that go to the compatibility tab, you should see Compatibility mode, check it and run it on something the game is compatible with. It usually works in most cases, but there are a few exceptions.

With Quake I can't even load it onto the computer.
Shogo loads but when I start the game no menus are visable, the sound and background are there alright.
