this is a total lie,its just that celerons dont have the fsb in high rates than the P4 or PIII thats all,but with a little overclocking you can do the job damn well :)

They have a high multiplier and a low FSB..

A Lie? Thats pretty normal to get the 900 to 1.2 gig or past...

900 is an excellent chip to overclock it has a cD0 stepping which would be such a great stepping for overclocking..If it did have high FSB's of the P3 .. The price wouldn't be that low.

Bah. I love the Celeron line. It was a great idea, and I never had any problems with the Celeron's. They are extremely reliable and fun to play with. Plus you don't feel so bad if you break one by accident. Oh btw...my celeron just won't die. I have tried several times to...umm...test its limits. It just won't die though. I think I will keep buying Celerons.

The 1000 has a guaranteed cD0 stepping which is very notorious for a good stepping for overclocking.

I had my celeron 1Ghz for a while now. It's stable and I'm currently running it on an orb do to my other heatsink needed some modding. If its stable on an orb, and boots 1.2Ghz on an orb, it'll do alot better with some cooling. You'll pay about $70 shipped i think and it really is a great upgrade. The day I upgraded from my 433@540 to my 1Ghz i noticed a HUGE difference.
