Damn it... Didn't read it was for Win2K (LOL) I got Win98 just spent ~40mins dling this thing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:eek:

what all does 8.1 do over regular 8.0? anything worth my time to download if i have a radeon 32ddr?

More video enhancements/probably better benching

It took me a while to find a working download. I use www.filemirrors.com (its run by the people who make Getright).

Yeesh... that sucks. =(

Go here (http://microsoft.com/directx/homeuser/downloads/default.asp) for all versions of DirectX 8.1.

Oh yea, and go here (http://www.verizon.net) to see if Verizon DSL is available in your area. Poor 56Ker. :(
