Wow: Finally got the Whirlwind Axe and I'm mad

Didn't this thing use to have an ability? Now all it has is stat modifiers. I'm really mad I spent so much time trying to get this thing. GGGAAAAHHH!!!! Feel my wrath!!!

the Whirlwind Axe is the best axe as long as you get it early on, but if you get it too late it becomes a little less appealing. but if you get it at 30-33, you have a sweet DPS for the level

That equals a waste of gold in my opinion. Why would you waste gold on an Agility enchant for a lvl 35-45 weapon?

I'm guessing for low level pvp twinking.

As far as the aoe type proc, it sounds like an uncotrollable AOE could get you into trouble in instances.

It doesn't.

I'm 60 on Frostmane, i've seen crazy AOEs proc in my day...and unless the mob has agro, it won't usually pull.

Now a chance to fear...that's a different story.

I was thinking more along the lines of breaking crowd controls in close quarters. I'm sure at that level placement on every pull is not what it could be.
