the physics update isnt going to be out untill friday. the current version is a bit slippery at lowspeeds among other issues.

I will have to check it out. Been a while since I last messed with LFS.

I pretty much have been using rFactor with F1 mod for my open wheel goodness. :)

Well, you made me curious so if you go here (http://www.rfactor.net/index.php?page=features) and scroll to the bottom you will see that XP64 is a supported OS. :)

Guys the patch is out. its amazing... best simulator i've ever played by far. its amazing... i'm overwhelmed. The level of detail to the physics is amazing. best by far. :santa:

I'm curious about your point of reference, what other racing sims have you had long term experience with?

name any sim... and i've played it for at least a few hours.

rfactor, nkpro,gt4,gtr,gtl,gpl etc F2000. try out the patch with the updated physics. they're much improved but the transition from grip to no grip is still a bit too smooth. but tires have much more "bite" than before and recover grip more realisticly.

here's a vid of me doing a 55 second lap on blackwood. the tires were kinda cold and i made a few mistakes but its a decent lap . i hit around 198mph on the straightaway. the car is a bit tricky with cold tires, just like in real life.

I know i can get into the 53's with a little more practice.
