Copper HS Question?

Newbie Question, I know, and probably a stupid one,but.
Doesn't copper tend to tarnish over time? Do you have to service these often? and are they worth it?

Tarnish as far as I understand it will not effect it's ability to cool down CPUs - and they are WAY worth it!

for all i know it wont tarnish because its not being exposed to weathering.....and if it does tarnish, it wont be any time in the near future..and for that matter any time that you will be using that block
