8500 OC Help

Just got my ATI 8500 RETAIL only hours ago. I got it installed and it works and all. I got like 5250 on 3dmark2001 because my processor is only 850mhz (till next week, then its xp 1900). At any rate I downloaded two different radeon overclocking programs and neither shows what the stock GPU and MEM mhz are at. They dont seem to read them correctly. One shows 140mhz and another program says 0 mhz. Can someone suggest a good program to show the stock speeds at or tell me how to get it to work in Radeon tweaker? Thanks in advance.

waht programs were you using before? also what os you using? i know radeon tweaker is good, but ive forgotten how to use it. ill download in a few and see if i can let you know. dunno if its incompatible with 8500 though. i know a few people here have oced the 8500 (and ill join their ranks if i ever get one ;-)), so hopefully one of them will pop on. there have been a few threads about it though, might wanna try and search for them.

I am on Winxp Pro, I tried Radeon tweaker and this one www.rage3d.com/radeon/r3dtweak/ . Cant get it to show stock speeds, thanks.
