Hello everyone. I´m new at this Forum.
My name is Humberto and i'm from Portugal.
I would like some help with my machine (no money for upgrade and "need more speed").
I have a:

P4 Prescott 3.0Ghz
Board Asus P4P800-E Deluxe
Club3D Nvídia GForce 6600 GT
1024 Dual Channel Kingston

I ask for help because i work with 3ds Max and i need more "speed" for rendering.
Could someone help me with this overclock, please.

Thank's everyone.

Refer to your motherboard manual as to where the settings are located in the BIOS, and read the stickies, they are there for a reason (questions like this get asked a lot). Download Coolbits, which will allow you to overclock your 6600GT in the nvidia menu.

WELCOME :welcome:

this is from ASUS web LINK (http://usa.asus.com/products.aspx?l1=3&l2=12&l3=31&model=178&modelmenu=1)

You should get up to 30% OC on this board and with little bit volt mod on your video card and some bigger cooling option you can OC your video card.
*NOTE* OC can/WILL produce more heat and for that you need/should add more cooling.

what are you running right now as timings, volts, cooling, etc
All that info is needed to see how much you really can improve with out spending $$.

Form what i can say at this moment you can play with some BIOS options ( write down old/new test change test etc.
Sorry i couldn't help you too much but it's hard to guess without more info.

Have fun

You are in luck, that motherboard not only allows overclocking, but it's pretty good too. Raise the FSB a little at a time (like 5 MHz increments), test for stability and check temps.
