Hey Everyone,

I have known about OCing for a while now, but I just haven't gotten round to doing it.
Now I got a new Video Card and am brave enough now.

I have a PowerColor X700 AGP 256MB.
What is the best I can Overclock this Card with the Standard Fan.

I will get round to Buying a Vantec Fan later, but right now, I want to OC my Card.
I just got Half-Life 2 today, so I want the Best Results.

By The Way, I have the Omega Drivers installed, so I can OC my Card with that.

Thanks Guys.

Some use Rivatunner or the Ati tool , I use PowerStrip. Each application allows overclocking and how far you go is up to you and the system.
Run and post your benchmark results.....

I can OverClock my Video Card with my Omega Drivers.

Does the Free Version of 3DMark 2006 give Detailed Results?

As far as it'll go :)

I like to use Rivatuner for my card.

Go slowly, maybe 10 mhz at a time on the GPU and memory. Then test it out in games.

I would only get an aftermarket cooling if the card was running too hot.

good luck

Hey Dan,

Thanks for the Advice.
I have placed an Order for the Vantec PCI Dual Fan.
I Heard it was very good at Cooling the PC.
This way, I can OverClock more. ^_^

SVC.com! Many Ati Fan active heatpipe coolers for only around $20.00.
My Ati X1600 pro will jump out of games after an extended period.
I have never worried about my highest overclock speed its the new speeds and voltage solutions I choose and stock coolers will not suffice..... Its your new system speeds you intend to run on a daily basis for improved performance that are your real Cost Of Product vs. Increased benefits.
