Whenever I try to connect to an online game my connection fails. whats causing this? I do have a router that has a firewall and I let the firewall to my ip address be disabled (dmz host) I think i did that corretly. Any suggestions are weloccome

Thats weird, you should'nt even need DMZ unless your hosting a game online.... So it probably isnt firewall problems, do you have the 436 (i think) patch installed 4 unreal? What router you got?

I have linksys 4 -port router model # befsr41 v.2
I also think it might not be the router since i can run a ftp server. But i dunno.
where can i get that patch?

It aint the router then. I have that same model (w/ newest firmware upgrade). All works fine cept i cant host games. Even with DMZ!!! grr...
You can d/l unreal patch here. (http://unreal.epicgames.com/TournamentVersions.htm)
