@CJ- I've gotta get ready to make a charge at AC... me knows something you don't. :D (not meant derogatory) But you're right... I won't be catching him in a month. However, if I can make up 10k here quickly that will be a nice chunk. ;)

@cuda- I'm doing my damn'dest to do just that... it's just not working out though. Gonna try some further bios flashing, etc... but different ram made no difference, actually worse and I know there's nothing wrong with the other ram I tried. So it's down to the cpu or the board... and I hope it's the board. The cpu is an absolute gem doing 3GHz @ 1.44v. I haven't seen an Opteron yet that won't run DDR600. Again :cross fingers: I think it's the board. I have tried to get further help in the DFI AMD Mobos forum, but no one seems to be offering any helpful suggestions or concurring with my conclusion. :cry:

One way or another, I'll either get it figured out or will be RMA'ing the board.

Hi harlam, we all noticed, just in the bottom of a different thread :). So when do I get to look forward to your company again? I've got 4 days before I take on 159, talk about big steps. The good news is that I'm still gaining my original ppd back, averaging about 2200 now. Good luck on the new system, I just corrupted the bios on my NF7-S, but after a bit of hot flashing with the help of my 8rda+ the NF7-S is back. I gave up on the OC tonight though. I can get it to run the mobile 2800+ at 2.5Ghz, but it's not stable. I may just take it back down to around 2.2Ghz at stock votage though. I would rather have a cooler running cpu. Eitherway, take care, and good luck.
