This is what i got off bf2s.com this is what they say is being fixed.

Apparently it's not the full list:

PATCH 1.30 Official change list

New Features

- Air dropped vehicles:
Squad members can now send a request up the chain of command for a vehicle to be dropped at their location.
- Co-op:
Co-op Mode allows you to play Single Player levels on the Internet and LAN with both AI controlled bots and human players. Several new options have been created that will allow the server creator to modify how the bots behave in game.

Number of Bots: This setting allows you to determine the total number of bots that will spawn in game.

Bot Ratio: This setting allows you to determine the percentage of total bots that will spawn for each team. For Example, setting this value to 25 means that 25% of the total bots will spawn in Team 1, and 75% in Team 2. Team 1 is always the MEC, Chinese, or their allies, While Team 2 is always the USA, EU, and their allies.

Bot Difficulty: This setting determines the skill level of the bots. 10 is easyest, 100 is the most difficult.

- Default Kit Selection:
The kit that you used last is remembered at the beginning of the round and between maps.

Bug Fixes and Gameplay Tweaks

- Fixed issues with remote console and Linux server
- Prevented ban list from being cleared in the event of a server crash.
- Fixed the bug where helicopters abandoned in the air would continue flying.
- Fixed issue with player not properly ranking up on servers where they continuously play.
- If the player joins a squad while dead, the player will not be able to use the squad leader as a spawn point until they have respawned once.
- Flag Capture bar now reacts accurately to players entering the capture radius.
- Fixed bug where friendly vehicles showed as valid targets
- Friendly Vehicle Lock: Lock-on weapons do not lock on to friendly vehicles.
The box with an X trough it will still appear, but a lock tone will not sound and then if fired, the missile will not track the friendly target.
- Fixed bug that altered mini map functionality
- Adjusted missile count on BF2SF helicopters.
- Fixed bug with Special Forces rank names.
- Fixed repairing HUD for the engineer when in a vehicle
- Added custom messages for server so that the private messages may be sent directly to a player. Messages may be sent from the server using the following command in the console.
host.sgl_sendTextMessage( playerid, channelid, typeid, text, flags )
Here is an example: host.sgl_sendTextMessage( 0,14,1, "Message Goes Here", 0 )
- Adjusted award criteria
- Added deterrent system against alternative ranking ???? does that mean
- Fixed Linux server crash: A ranked server that can no longer connect to the GameSpy backend will become an unranked server.
- Fixed a tech hang when creating a single player account from an offline account
- Fixed crash when switching from BF2 to BF2:SF (or vice versa)

The Outfit on Xbox360 has this air drop vehicles and gun emplacements idea.

I find I really like it!

The air drop could be good or bad depending on the commander. It will probably have a time system similar to supply drops, maybe a little longer for balancing.

I am glad that they finally added the co-op mode.

The squad/death thing could be good or bad. I understand why they implemented it (in order to not have 8 walking spot points on the map) but it will also be annoying for those who want to just join the squad and spawn (obviously).

I agree totally!

Now on a small map all you'll have to do is neutralize all the spawn points and the other team will be screwed. Sometimes I think EA/Dice have no clue how to "balance" this game.

I never found switching squads when everyone else is dead except a squad leader to be a problem, actually just the opposite. It even says in the Prima guide that the squad leader should try to stay alive so that others can spawn on them. I've been in afew games where that was the only way we could get back going and fight.

A better fix would be to ADD the ability to spawn on the commander.

I think air drops are a cool idea. The reason being is that it could be used by either side. You can see the air drop supplies from a distance, and being that vehicles are alot bigger it gives you a better chance of stealing vehicles.

Pretty sure we will start seeing "NO STEALING AIR DROPS OR YOU WILL BE BOOTED AND BANNED!" LOL

I am all for spawn killing, commanders using armor and vehicle stealing.

All is fair in love and war.

The Co-Op feature is not really anything new, you could do it in all the versions...just start a single player game and people on your LAN could just join your IP. The number of bots and skill of bots is also nothing new. It's all in C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\AI\AIDefault

All just user friendly now probably.

do you think that me and 4 other people or something could create a game and then have 60 bots try to kill us? or is there a limit?

I think so...

should work fine... although I didn't read about a change in the map size. The only other problem is having that many bots will kill your cpu.

Some decent changes but nothing outstanding or to the order necessary. These changes are needed:

* dead squad leaders are not able to leave the squad until respawning (or revival).
* 2 second invlunerability on spawn, or until you fire your weapon, whichever comes first.
* grenades are replenished by resupply at a rate of 1 per supply bag. Grenades are not replenished by the aura.
* cross vehicle repairs no longer work (i.e. tank repairing apc, vice versa).
* supply crates have finite supplies.
* Mi-28 splash damage greatly reduced.
* Helicopters repair more slowly
* Jets repair more slowly
* medic self heal rate reduced
* last occupants of destroyed vehicle cannot enter vehicle for 30 seconds after it respawns.
* mandatory 40 second wait for game commencement.
* entering and exiting vehicles and changing positions takes time.
* a player can be revived, at most, 2 times in a 75 second period.
* servers with friendly fire off cannot have ranked status
* claymores take 5 seconds to arm after placement
* mines take 5 seconds to arm after placement
* carrier cannons have been improved and operate automatically.
* it is no longer possible to artillery uncapturable spawn points.
* squads and lone wolfs are randomly redistributed every round on pubs.
* .50 cal mg accuracy reduced

I think all these changes would make the game more enjoyable to play, although vehicle *****s will certainly disagree for obvious reasons. Hint: You don't have a 'right' to the chopper, apc, tank, or plane, doing a bit of grunt work wont hurt you, i promise.

This is already the case, you cannot spawn if you do not have a flag.
