I'm trying to figure out if the chrome version of the M4 GPU block is made outta Derlin/Acetel?

It seems the same shape and design as the Acetel so im guessing it is, anyone know for a fact?

I got Chrome Version and I know the fact that it is heavier than Acetal Version so I'm pretty sure it's not made out of Derlin

DD should let you know what material they chromed for the top if you asked..

Delrin cannot be chromed.
Why cant Delrin be chromed.
when i was into bikes 99 percent was chromeable

Nickel particles cannot bond to plastics with conventional chroming (nickel is the layer that lies under a thin layer of chromium). It's possible to chrome certain non-metal materials using an entirely different process (this is not actually electrical plating, but vacuum metalizing), but I don't believe this process is very resistant to wear and tear.

The cone reflectors in cheap flashlights are generally vacuum metalized.

I needed a new DD maze top for a7900gt
Brass was out of stock so i got a Acetal top.
I never heard of Delrin.
So Acetal=Delrin which must be a composite
Thanks for info
