I went straight to h20 so I cannot comment on air temps, but I was seeing 39c/43c with an ambient of 33c. When I could get my ambient down to below 30(I live in the south and it is HOT already) I saw temps oof 33c/38c. I would also suggest eVGA. They are a great company.
I have two of these in sli. My temps will be a little higher than the single card user because of it. My temps idle around 50c and jump no higher than 58c on full load. Going to get a different cooler though for both.

Man, I will be glad when Intel releases Conroe and I can afford one. I like my Intel chip, but it is a furnace.
My 7900GT runs about 36-37 load w/ wc. polarflo tt block (older version I bought used)
oc'd to 635/1700 1.4v

Dude, 33c is 91 degrees... that's like, your skin turns to bacon.

I know it's hot, but it's not that hot...lol. It is starting to get hot in the south, but not hot enough to turn on the air so that is why my temps are so high. I am just hoping to get through the damn summer and back to fall/winter temps.

49C idle on a eVGA 7900GT KO, 67C load on a very hot day 60C on a normal day.
Just bought two Zalman 700cu's and they dropped my second slot to 43c from 53 and the top cooler from 53c to 47c.
Inno3d 7900 gt 540 core/ 1500 mem 40 idle about 50 load with VF900-Cu

I just got the XFX 7900GT Extreme. With the stock cooler at stock volts it idled at about 53c. I put my VF700CU on it and temps dropped to 41c idle and about 47c load. That's at 582\1672 which is the Coolbits overclock. I'll probably do the Volt mod this weekend and see what happens.

haha :) in canada with the x-factor(humidity) it hits 40*C :bang head its horrible.
Mine's idling at 39c right now. Depending on how hot of a day it is load temps are 56c - 60c. Stock cooler, stock volts.

You removed the giant heatpipes that eVga had on their 7900 GTX?
How easy was that becsuse it sure looks like the drop in temps you are getting is worth it.
Mine arent GTX, they are just the gt. It just had that weak cooler that is on there. Really loud and its **** poor. No heatpipes as of you speak
My 7900gt ko idles at 44c. It feels like about 75f in the room right now.

My idle temp for my 7900GT is currently at 46C and usually around 50C on load. (it's a pretty warm day overe here in SF right now though, especially my ambient room temperature at the moment). Oh yeah, and I set the VF700 on low so that's probably also why it's pretty high.
