Can pls advise whether mines is an retail boxed version or the "tray" OEM which entiltled different Intel warranty applicable?

As I have bought this chip along with the whole system setup & hence wondered what is the possiblility of it being a retail or OEM which was truly confusing as tracking with Intels' S-Specs table showed both types of possibility! SL4CF.

Okay, I would only have the chip imprints available to try and see if whether anybody can pin-point to me. Here's the 2 rows of letters and numberings imprinted on the green PCB found on the lower bottom of the processor's core.

750/256/100/1.7V Philipines

Thank you in advance.

Where did you buy the system?

It would most likely be a retail since if where you bought the system they will most likely give you a 2-3 year store waranty maybe..

1st year is the store waranty
2nd year is to send it to INtel

Well, dunno if it's retail, I think an email to intel might be able to tell (they'll want the full processor id I'd imagine).

Your stepping info:

SL4M9/SL4CF SL4CF cC0 0686 256K 80 19.5 2,3,4,8

Should get to 1GHZ with good cooling.

Thanks for trying to resolved but the problem is this is an D.I.Y. kind of system purchase that are abundant in my native country and hence that was all I can obtain from the chip itself, all these above 2 rows stated and I really was curious whether what is this processor actual packaging status as it does makes an helluva difference with warranty!
