How to get EAX and Creative Software to Runin Win2k?

My PCI-512 does not have Win2k files for the PCI-512, the drivers ad sound work fine, but there is no EAX software or nayhting else like that, like there was in Win98...

Have you downloaded the Liveware drivers for Win2000 from creatives site ?

i assumed that LiveWare was only for the Live series of cards.....ill try it....

hmm, they dont let you download it anymore, now they make you order a CD.....

edit: i was right, i dled it off some random site i found on google and when i tried to install it said that i didnt have Live! card...

Strange i downloaded drivers for xp and w2k 0n saturday.They enabeled EAX and audio hq in 2000?

update: i installed the Win95 software from the CD, and then used the upgrade software and driver thingie from creative.com, and all the creative proggies work fine except Creative Launcher which houses the EAX controls :mad: ...uhhhh.....these creative driver people must be made up of laid off ATI employees who didnt make the cut :D .....heck, i never had any problems with my Rage Fury Pro, so right now im kinda ticked at Creative, theyve had what 2years since win2k came out to make acceptable EAX software? Of course i think theyre screwing me over just because i have a true "value" solution, and theyre trying to tighten the vice grip on my ***** to make me buy an Audigy or a Live, but ive lived without EAX for 1 year, and i wont give in till they give me it back :D
