~~Problem using Virtual CD~~

Does anyone here uses Virtual CD?
Well my problem is like this.
I am presently playing Final Fantasy VIII
after installing the game ( INSTALL DISC )
then i have to use another cd ( CD 1 ) to play the game
because my cd-rom is somekind of faulty
soo i decided to copy the whole cd into the HDD
using Virtual CD to a virtual drive which is Drive F
but when i play the game from a shortcut, it always refer
to the cd in Drive E which should be my cd-rom
any way to make it refer to my cd in the virtual drive F?

Thats weird.. It should be already directing it to your ROM where FF is in..

probarly because the installed FF thought the CD is in the CD-rom which is in drive E but i don't use a cd but using a virtual Cd which is in drive F. Do u think the FF will search all over the drives to look for the play disc? Because i don't think so. Juz can't think of a way to tell it

I dont think so.. Say i were to install from my CD rom I can stick my cd in my burner and still play.. It seems like a bad image copy or something.

bad image? probarly not. Coz it works with those games which the play disc is with autostart. Btw the FF play disc isn't with autostart, there for i have to click from the short cut

incase someone is interested to know the answer of the solution
well it is to actually install the game from the virtual cd instead of
from the real Cd-rom. Then create another virtual cd of the play
disc and play from the same virtual drive. That would do that trick.
