I am having a problem with this service running in the background every 10 to 30mins it seems to randomly come on, it takes full priority and makes everything grind to a halt, and seems to mess around with my wireless network and I have to CTRL ALT DEL and end service that way.

If I go into services.msc and turn it off I have no internet, so I really don't know what to do. It makes BF2 impossible! Grr!

Are you using Belkin networking gear?

I was trying to, but my motherboard will not work with either too of my belkin pci cards. So at the moment I am using a crappy USB thing which works unlike the Belkin, but is very slow.

Seems this problem is related to Belkin wireless cards. Uninstall the Belkin utility and let Windows handle the wireless connection.

I have tried that. But my motherboard will not see these cars for some reason. I really can't understand why they won't work on this mobo but have worked on others, and still do.

Well when i did a quick search on this problem it all stemed back to Belkin. Don't know what else to tell you. Perhaps someone who has worked through the problem another way can help you out. Good Luck.

I also searched and I couldn't find any other answer other than Belkin seem to have issues. I shall to keep working with the USB one for now!

Have you tried stopping this service in services.msc and choosing manual start ?

You might also try enabling Wireless Zero Config in services then disabling WinXPDisableZeroConfigation.exe .

Is your BIOS not seeing the PCI cards or is it Windows which doesn't?
