My internet Explorer auto launches when I connect to interenet: subjet

Hi, I have a question, my ie auto launches when ever I conenct to internet using my braod band and when ever it does that it is sometimes closable but MOST of the time it freezes my comp and I can't do anything! not cltr alt del.. doesn't work.. REALLY annoying so tell me how to disable the launch plz... Thx in advance

A guy I built a pc for a few years ago had the same problem: his broadband provider set his homepage to their portal and they had BAD CODE! I had to drive 2 hours for the support visit, and tried all kinds of stuff before finding out that their portal had BAD CODE!!!!

Check to see what the homepage is, and try changing the hompage to something like....OC.Com!

It is a silly thing, and it may not work for you but.............
