I think I've dealt with them before. Not sure, though, since I lost all my emails recently. IF I did deal with them, then they weren't too bad. :)

Check reseller ratings. Also, at the bottom of their main page, it shows Bizrate, CNET, and Yahoo certified... for what that's worth.

All of the stuff there is very reasonably priced. Between Compu-Plus and newegg you should be able to build an excellent computer for a great price. Their best prices are and have been on hard drives and video cards. CPUs are a little more expensive, and the motherboards are a tad pricier as well. I have not had a bad expierience with them at all.

I used to buy from them but found that their shipping charges were way too high if I ordered more than 1 or 2 items at a time. Now, I mostly order from newegg.com or mwave.com as their prices are around the same and their shipping is more reasonable if you are ordering a bunch of stuff.

I order through them and through them only. These guys are great.

My first order was an Abit Vp-6 motherboard. It was DOA. Not their fault, but they next day cross shipped the replacement board to me. Can't beat that.

Seeing this was a dual board I ordered the CPU's from them. I told them that I wanted CPU's that were from the same lot number and no more than 2 numbers apart. I explained to them, that they must be of the same stepping in order to run properly, and that is the only requirements, but the serial numbers being no more than 2 apart is only a personal preference.

I got two chips 1 number apart. Sister chips.

The people work with you. If you have any special requests I recommend doing a phone order with them. They will also ship to an address different from the billing address. But you do have to verify the address with them and the reason over the phone so they know your not being ripped off.

Shipping is a little high there, but I don't mind at all to pay a little more the the reasurrance of the order. Besides, its 2 day air!

Comp u plus is awsome. They almost always prcess your order within hours of making it (unless at night) and ship the next day.
I ordered my whole comp from there minus the mobo and the cooling stuff.

I would recomend them to anybody! THEY EVEN GAVE ME FREE SHIPPING FOR ONE OF MY ORDERS CAUSE I ORDERED THEM A DAY APART!
