Just changed my C2-600@945 over to a T-Bird (1000 AXIAR @1333) and WAHOO!!! The units are going about 10 times faster. Just D/L WUs for my other C2 and the T-bird (1000 unit villins). The T-bird is about 80% done, the C2-600 is about 8% done.

Time to buy some more motherboards and CPUs and build some boxes for the family ;) . Maybe within the next couple of months, cash flow sucks right now but this will change soon.

I hadn't joined the Folding Team before I got the XP, but after I got that Folding, I networked the P/// to Fold, as well. OH YES, there IS a difference...:D

I am not the kind of person who likes to say I told you so, but I think an exception could be made in this instance. I told you so.

Ok Stanman,

I have to ask: how do you do it? What is the source of your power?

BTW, you are the greatest...

As far as AMD XP it's a lot faster than the old TBird.

Even in a clock for clock comparison? Someone needs to compare, say, a 1.4 Bird and a 1600+ XP... (both 1.4 GHz). I'd like to know how much faster it truly is.... because when it comes to my next processor choice I was really leaning 1.4 Bird so I could have multiplier control guaranteed.... Otherwise I might go for a 1500+ or 1600+ XP....
