Just wondering if anybody out there has modified the base or added on to the Dragon Orb 3 so that it bolts to the MB instead of the ZIF socket. This thing weighs a ton and I have read that when the case is upright it stresses the chip and will crack it. I ordered a shim, but I want to just mount it to the MB.
