Perhaps this belongs in the M$ OS section, but this area has more traffic, so forgive me.

I installed XP64 (again) since I was in need of a reformat anyway, and I am having the same problem I had like a year ago. Ati drivers prevent XP64 from booting up. I get a bluescreen right before the desktop appears, and I have to go into safemode and remove them to get into windows. I am installing XP-64 onto nforce4 raid, and I believe I read somewhere that there was a compatibility problem, but that was over a year ago, so I'm hoping that isn't related. Still, why havn't they fixed this problem yet! I'm using a different video card, and a different sound card, and I have dual-core now, and still I have the same issue.

Yeah I have same problem with 32bit xp any driver above 6.2 version results in startup coruption=bluescreen and also only way to remove is to go in safe mod..but with 64bit windows situation is totaly different they work fine 6.3 and 6.4! I myself also did not locate problem regarding this.... I suspect my graphic card (does not have latest bios upgraded) but then I doubt...
There are also other users reporting same isu among x1800 and x1900 graphic series but I don't know what is causing it but it's shure that bluescreen reports crash on ati drivers something like mag can remamber exactly...

I'm running x64 edition and ati drivers without any problems. You've replaced quite a bit and it is still happening, i'd say the mobo indeed. Maybe disabling as much as possible in the bios (serial, parallel, a few usb ports etc) can pinpoint the true problem.

Well, it seems that everyone who has this problem has 3 things in common:

An Ati card
An nForce4
A Creative Soundcard

Anyway I'm going back to 32bit again.... again. Maybe I'll sell my copy of X64 on anandtech or something.
